The admissions process at Covered Bridge Montessori School is designed to ensure that we can provide the best possible school experience and opportunity for you and your family.
Students accepted into our program are enrolled for the full school year. We do not accept partial year or temporary enrollments, however special arrangements may be made for those applying to enter the program after the school year has begun.
Acceptance into the program is at the sole discretion of the school.
Covered Bridge Montessori School accepts children without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability provided that the school can meet the needs of the child.
1. Schedule a tour. The school’s Director will meet with the parent(s) to discuss the Montessori program and the student’s / parent’s needs. An information & application packet will be provided
at this time.
2. Submit completed application. Application fee - $100.00 per child. 3. Student Observation / Visit. New applicants may be required to visit the school and interview with the Director and/or prospective teacher. This brief interview/screening may be done to determine the child’s skill levels and may be used to assist in the determination of acceptance and classroom placement. Children transferring from other programs will be required to provide transcripts to assist in the application process. 4. Acceptance. Families will be notified in writing regarding acceptance. Upon acceptance, forms requiring additional registration information will be provided. When these forms are returned along with the appropriate registration fees, your place in Covered Bridge Montessori School will be confirmed.
Start date and classroom placement will be determined based upon a number of factors including classroom capacities, gender ratios, student ages, and prior school experience. It is possible that a child may be placed on a wait-list for an appropriate opening. The registration fee for a wait-listed child will be due when the start date has been determined.
