Smryna Campus
Covered Bridge Montessori School is now accepting resumes for Certified Toddler Lead and Certified Primary Lead positions beginning August of the current 2023- 2024 Academic School Year. The successful candidate(s) will be dedicated and loving individuals who can assist in guiding our students ages 15 months - 3 years (Toddler) and 3 years - 6 years (Primary). The successful candidates will have a warm and friendly approach and willingness to adhere to the Montessori philosophy.
Job Type: Full-time
Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience: Infant/Toddler,14 months - 3 years (Required); Primary, 3 - 6 years (Required)
Minimum requirements:
- Honest, interactive and diligent
- Dependable, Flexible, Punctual, and Accountable
- Strong work ethic
- Experience working with children in Montessori school environment
- Team player/positive attitude
- Capable of following policies & directives well
- Time management skills
- Organizational skills
- Communication skills
Required additional qualifications for Certified Lead Teacher:
- Candidate preferred to have a Bachelor's Degree and Experience in Montessori Education
- Must possess a Montessori Diploma/Certification
- Must possess excellent time management skills and organizational skills
- Must have excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Must be able to maintain classroom needs at ALL times
- Must have patience and a nurturing, positive attitude toward children
- Must have passion for teaching young children
- Must be able to work independently without supervision
- Must be proactive, creative and resourceful
